Aloha Pastor Ko and Sis Sharon, Thank you. Your example in ministry encourages us to stand firm in our own faith. Thank you for modeling what it means to live for the sake of God’s kingdom and not our own. You have reminded us that the most important thing is that we live for Christ—no matter what comes our way. In a culture that tells us to live for ourselves, you have shown us that there is a better way. We thank God for both of you, and we are glad to have you as our pastor. Thank you Pastor and Sister Ko for your 30 years of faithful service to our family ever since I was born again under your ministry in September 1994. I recall how protective you were over Juvy when I started attending Island Christian Singles. I remember how my faith grew exponentially with Sister Ko’s regular promptings for me to be willing to undertake new roles in the worship ministry. And I recall that you discerned that when we returned from the Philippines that the Lord had gotten a hold of me and I was then willing to serve God in a full-time capacity. And then over these many subsequent years, that you have entrusted me to serve in leadership at Christian Academy, FAOG, Windward, and The Shelter. We will continue serving alongside you and Sister Ko until our Lord returns or He calls us home. With our Love & Aloha. John & Juvy
