Graphic Designer – Part-time

Maintenance Supervisor – Full-time
First Assembly of God is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep and repair of the church’s facilities. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all congregants and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, administrative, verbal/written communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a broad knowledge of building systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facility Maintenance and Repair:
- Supervise and perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, metalwork, carpentry, and painting.
- Oversee the upkeep of the church grounds, including landscaping, and general cleanliness.
- Ensure all building systems operate efficiently and are in good repair.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance staff and volunteers.
- Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel.
- Schedule and oversee the work of contractors and service providers as needed.
3. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to building maintenance and safety.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
4. Resource Management:
- Manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of supplies and equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools.
- Coordinate with church leadership on facility improvement projects and capital expenditures.
5. Event Support:
- Assist with the setup, breakdown, and technical support for church events and activities.
- Ensure all facilities are prepared and presentable for worship services, meetings, and special events.
6. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with church/school staff, leadership, and congregation members regarding maintenance issues and schedules.
- Provide regular updates to the Facility Manager/Pastor on maintenance activities and needs.
- Foster a positive and cooperative work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is preferred.
- More than 5 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field, with at least 3years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, metalwork,and carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Capable to work individually or as part of a team
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Computer and technical skills an asset to the position
- Teachable and open to developing skills in areas beyond current strengths

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors in all weather conditions.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position with evening and weekend work as required to support church events and activities.
Compensation:
- Salary based on experience and qualifications.

Junior Accountant
Requirements: detail-oriented / four years degree in accounting / two years work experience in accounting and understands financial statements. Duties include accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
